The environmental, social and governance responsibility of Maronese®
The Maronese® commitment to ESG guides every aspect of the production and business process: reduction of environmental impact, responsible use of resources, focus on the wellbeing of people and the transparency of management processes. All Maronese® furniture is made with recyclable materials, chosen to remain impeccable over time. Through the promotion of social projects, the continuous improvement of the work environment and the training of staff, Maronese® enhances its human, territorial and cultural capital.
Renewable energy
Maronese® launched a major energy reconversion project in 2022 with the installation of a 600 kW photovoltaic system, to which an additional 126 kW was added in 2025 with the future goal of achieving an overall capacity of 999 kW. Annual production comes to around 500,000 kWh of clean energy: as member of an “Energy Community”, every year Maronese® returns over 217,000 kWh to the grid for the benefit of the community and third parties.

Products compliant with Minimum Environmental Criteria
Maronese® products are compliant with the CAM, the environment requirements established by the Italian Ministry of the Environment
and Energy Security, and inserted in the Italian Public Contracts Code. Compliancy with the CAM makes it possible to reduce
environmental impact and promote circular and more sustainable production and consumption models.
Certification
Maronese® is a company that stands out for its high ecological efficiency, as acknowledged by the Ecol Design Award. Materials, components and production phases are subject to period audits by accredited organisations to guarantee the intrinsic quality of components and the traceability of the supply chain.
FSC® certification attests to the company’s commitment to maintaining a responsible chain of custody for wood raw materials, which come exclusively from sustainably managed forests.
The paints used comply with the EN 71-3:2002 standard, which establishes safety requirements to protect human health: absence of formaldehyde, absence of carcinogenic substances, and compliance with the CAT. 1, 2, 3 classifications related to non-toxicity (GHS06).
