What distinguishes framed doors from standard flat doors?
Framed doors (models Glax, Frame, and Wood Framed Doors) feature a slim perimeter profile in aluminum or wood/MDF enclosing a central insert in tempered glass, mirror, or wood paneling, providing visual lightness, transparency, and refined elegance.
What materials and finishes are available for framed doors?
- Frames: extruded aluminum in Champagne, Manganese, or Brushed Brill Inox finishes; lacquered or veneered wood/MDF frames.
- Glass inserts: 4 mm tempered safety glass available in clear, smoked (fumé), bronze, frosted/satin, and stop-sol reflective variants.
Are framed doors compatible across different furniture systems?
Glax, Frame, and Wood Framed doors are compatible with living room storage units (Seta, Unix, Sistema Spalla), wall units, and bedroom wardrobe systems.
What handle styles or push-pull opening systems are available?
Available opening mechanisms include standard push-pull systems, concealed profile handles integrated into the frame (as in Frame doors), or dedicated surface-mounted handles (such as the “C” handle for Glax doors).
What is the recommended maintenance for framed glass doors?
Clean with a soft cotton microfiber cloth dampened with water or neutral glass cleaner. Never use abrasive pads, chemical solvents, ammonia, or acetone on aluminum frames or lacquered surfaces.
